The Instruction
According to the Bible, God said that you should not set a stranger as a king over you. The word ‘stranger’ in some cases includes a novice, an ignorant man or inexperienced person, for such a person does not have the necessary knowledge, wisdom and experience to handle certain matters of life. This is true even as a baby does not know how to cook food and therefore, must depend on the parents for its daily feeding. By the word ‘you’ God means your religion, your traditions and …. your engagements.

A Sample Case Study
For example, the authority of the Christian religion was transferred from Jerusalem to Rome, in order that the influence and power of the Roman Empire could be used to spread the religion to all the ends of the world. Unfortunately, the Romans received the religion, but kept it aside. They kept aside the laws, times and festivals of God, which were His commandments, statutes and precepts, and were rather spreading their own pagan traditions. This development is best described by the parable of the Unfaithful Messenger.

The Consequences Of Setting A Stranger As A King Over A Kingdom
Because the Romans did not know the laws, times and festivals of God, they did not accord them due honour and did not comply with them. Thus, it became easy for the antichrist to enter the church and corrupt the true worship of God. Today, even those churches that claim to be the best are indeed among the worst. And what humanity call freedom of religion is nothing but the multiplicity of idolatry.

Already, so many souls have been lost to hell fire, and many more are likely to end up in the fiery chambers because of the neglect of this simple instruction over many past years. What is even more disappointing is the fact that it is hard now to convince people that they are following a wrong path that leads to hell fire. Despite the deceit of the antichrist, every religious group, ministry or fellowship claims to be the best, without knowing that they are practising the figments of imagination, the fabrications of falsehood and the deceptions of the enemy.

What is even most disappointing is the fact that religious leaders are not spiritually awake, enlightened and experienced. They cannot detect the evil works of the enemy and cannot call their members to order. Instead, the religious leaders are more interested in increased membership than in doing what God has commanded.
